October to December Planetary Alignments

Aug-30:    NEW MOON IN VIRGO:  In astrology, the new moon is a time for introspection and reflection as we celebrate a new beginning.  There’s no time like a new moon to update your wishlist. But at the Virgo new moon, it’s not just wishing.  Here, Virgo encourages us to Commit To Yourself  for a change to realize some of your wildest dreams.
Oct-31:    MERCURY RETROGRADE:  A retrograde is an optical illusion, when a planet appears to go backward in its orbit, as viewed from Earth. Mercury doesn’t actually move backward.   Here, don’t sign any important documents or contracts because Mercury rules all types of communication (speech, listening, educating, editing, researching, negotiating, transacting).  Mercury also rules all formal contracts and important documents – such as agreements, deeds, leases, etc.   During a retrograde period, it is hard to get decisions from others. Even if a decision is made, it will be subject to change, either just after Mercury turns to direct motion or much later.
Nov-01:    VENUS ENTERS SAGITTARIUS: Moving from Scorpio to Sagittarius, romantic energy shifts from intense to buoyant.  Romantic adventures, exploration, optimism and Hollywood-type of romances to love, are possible.  This is a time of expanding possibilities for relationships, money, self-esteem and values.
Dec-02:    JUPITER ENTERS CAPRICORN: Jupiter will be returning to Capricorn after 12 years.   Jupiter is connected to the journey of your life and the vision of your future.  With Jupiter in Sagittarius all opportunities are available. You can head in any direction, but commit to something.  Jupiter in Capricorn will ask us to be mature and grounded in both life and our finances. Focus on what’s real and tangible.  The harder you work, the luckier you will be!  It’s best not to over-spend, and keep your finances under control.
Oct-03:    PLUTO DIRECT: after five months in retrograde .. When Pluto starts moving forward, all of our deepest desires and secrets will begin to surface.  Pluto represents subconscious forces, ruling all that is “below the surface”. On the up side, Pluto is associated with renewal and rebirth. It represents endings and new beginnings, as well as spiritual growth and rebirth.  If you’ve been reassessing relationships or other areas of your life during Pluto Retrograde, it’s now time to stop thinking about making those changes and truly take action.
Oct-03:    MERCURY ENTERS SCORPIO: According to the science of astrology, the planet Mercury is the significator of intelligence.  Mercury in Scorpio seeks truths in all that is hidden and undercover.  It opens our eyes to what lies in the dark — secrets may be uncovered or withheld.  This is a time for soul-searching, research and donning your detective hat.
Oct-04:    MARS ENTERS LIBRA: Planet Mars which is known for courage, confidence, strength, and anger is a masculine planet. Libra is a peacekeeper and very practical and calm.  So you have an innate ability to act with harmony in mind.
Oct-08:    VENUS ENTERS SCORPIO: Deeply passionate relations are the focus — Venus in Scorpio is a lesson in joy and pain.  Venus helps us work through the non-superficial stuff, the stuff we hold close to our heart.  This is an emotionally charged position for Venus.  Scorpio welcomes intensity and diving deep.
Nov-08:    SATURN SEXTILE NEPTUNE: This means success and payoff from spiritual pursuits. You can make your dreams come true with determination, persistence and a practical, realistic approach. You will understand your own strengths and weaknesses but will be optimistic also.  You will also gain a deeper grasp of your spiritual goals and how they fit into the bigger picture.   Self-reflection, faith, and meditation will help you make your spiritual journey part of your life.
Dec-08:    JUPITER SQUARE CHIRON: Squares are like conflicting aspects in Astrology. This means the energy of Jupiter is forcibly opening up wounds (Chiron is the wounded healer).  This will help us deepen our understanding and expand our world view, so that we can allow ourselves to expand and grow into a depth of experience and wisdom.
Dec-09:    MERCURY ENTERS SAGITTARIUS: Mercury, in charge of communications and information, isn’t that comfy being in Sag.  Saggitarius is expansive.  In this transit, we aren’t always very precise, detaile-oriented or sharp.  We feel more like learning superficially about a wide array of topics, rather than deep diving to one particular subject.  We feel more idealistic, open-minded, adventurous, optimistic and visionary.  We’re focused on what’s fair and just.  Mercury is all about ideas and communications, and Sagittarius is about action. This combo could lead to speaking without thinking, accidentally saying something, or mouthing off things that aren’t true.
Sep-10:    JUPITER QUINCUNX TRUE NODE: Be Who You Are.   The North Node  is what you’re striving or aiming for in this lifetime. It’s your life lesson, your destiny and your major area of learning.  You will have to step out of your comfort zone to be yourself, reach your North Node destination.  And if you are, it’ll be helped by Jupiter, the planet of opportunity and good fortune. The inconjunct or quincunx (the terms are generally used interchangeably) aspect in astrology is formed between planets that are roughly 150 degrees apart.  The planets and points involved in a quincunx don’t understand each other.
Nov-12:    FULL MOON IN TAURUS: Take time out for life’s little pleasures this week with the Full Moon in calm, steady, patient Taurus. Every full moon is unique and it is even more so here as the Moon is exhalted in Taurus which is a very strong placement. So this is a time to slow down and smell the roses.  Exaltation is the placement of a planets in a particular sign where they feels happy and provides auspicious results. It is the also the placement where planet is in his highest power.
Oct-13:    FULL MOON IN ARIES: Full Moons are powerful times to align with our true selves. Every Full Moon differs based on the zodiac sign it is positioned.  As a fire sign, Aries is high energy, confidence, power and motivation. When Aries meets the Full Moon, it becomes a time to align with our life’s mission. It’s a great time to meditate to reveal what’s true to us and what we truly aspire for in this world.
Sep-14:    FULL MOON IN PISCES:   We’ll feel be really deep in our feelings and emotions — perhaps to the point where we feel emotional or that we’re not thinking clearly and precisely during the Harvest Moon.  This is the full moon that falls closest to the fall equinox. It’s also special given that it’s the last major luminary of the summer season, so there’s a sense of both closure and new beginnings.  Pisces is a mutable water sign, and it’s actually the 12th and last sign of the zodiac. It has a bit of all the other 11 signs and is spiritually evolved.
Sep-14:    MERCURY ENTERS LIBRA: When Mercury is in Libra, the sign of relationships, you’re going to feel a lot more social.  Libra is an air sign, so its energy is all about syncing with others.  Mercury is the planet of communication, information and intelligence.  So you’re going to initiate more conversations now, you’re going to start that first text and you’re going to feel more open talking to strangers.  Even better news: Mercury in Libra mends any recent  communication mishaps – perhaps you said something rude.  But now you’re able to smooth things over more easily.
Sep-14:    VENUS ENTERS LIBRA:  and as a gift from the universe, Mercury is entering Libra on the same day, doubling up the fun, romantic, airy vibes.  Venus is the planet of love, pleasure, and beauty, and Libra is literally the sign of relationships, so it makes a lot of sense that this energy would be the absolute best for your social life.  Love is absolutely in the air
Oct-14:    JUPITER SESQUIQUADRATE URANUS: Sesquiquadrate means an aspect in which two planets are separated by an angle of 135 degrees. The sesquisquare (or sesquiquadrate) is regarded as a minor aspect.  Watch for a tendency to overplay your hand or jump into conclusions and decisions.  You might feel slightly disorganized.  It’s possible to even feel confused about philosophical issues, being unsure whether to rely upon traditional viewpoints.
Oct-17:    JUPITER SEMI-SEXTILE PLUTO:  Jupiter represents our expansive qualities and our abilities to improve ourselves.  The semi-sextile is considered a “minor aspect” and is 30 degrees. This is an semi-easy aspect showing cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunity. Sextiles are considered a “soft” or “easy” aspects that reflect the planets involved. They have a way of delivering you a gift.  The semi-sextile aspect powers-up the energy which is released; and this will enhance your intuition, optimism, insights, thinking abilities.
Sep-18:    SATURN DIRECT:  Saturn stations direct after being retrograde since April 29 2019.   the start of a new Saturn cycle and a new round of lessons.  Saturn rules our conditioning or the way we were taught and brought up in the world. Saturn’s lessons actually help us to grow.  Is there a lesson we keep facing over and over again?  Do we keep finding ourselves in a similar situation?  Making the same types of mistakes?  These patterns are going to be important to investigate and to look at under this energy, so pay attention and see what messages arise for you
Oct-18:    PLUTO QUINTILE CHIRON:  Pluto promotes releasing buried power or core truths.  Chiron is the wounded healer. Although it signifies your deepest spiritual wounds, it also expresses your greatest spiritual strengths.  A quintile (when planets are at a 72 degree angle) aspect has been associated with creativity.  This is a time of healing — from transforming the bitterness, jealousy, greed and power. You can understand underlying motivations and human nature better, so you can heal from toxic experience, stop being oppressed, stop being an oppressor.
Aug-19:    JUPITER SEMI-SEXTILE SATURN: The semi-sextile  means the planets are 30 degrees apart.  It is a minor aspect, which has less impact then a sextile.  Right now, you’re great at planning the future and able to also see the bigger picture.  With Saturn’s help, you’re able to bring long term goals into reality.  Saturn rules our conditioning or the way we were taught and brought up in the world. Saturn’s lessons actually help us to grow. Jupiter represents our expansive qualities and our abilities for self-betterment. It is a planet of plenty and seeks insight through knowledge. It is the planet of possibility. A well aspected Jupiter is normally associated with good luck
Nov-19:    MARS ENTERS SCORPIO: Mars is the God of War and is a symbol of fierce and passionate energy. Mars is driven and focused on getting what it wants. So this transit is about looking within, to see why you’re pursuing what you’re pursuing.  Why are you angry, really?  What is the underlying reason you’re compelled to do something? Mars in Scorpio combines sex with power, intimacy and vulnerability.  If your intent is focused in a healthy direction, you can increase your personal power.
Nov-20:    MERCURY DIRECT: Mercury rules all formal contracts and important documents – such as agreements, deeds, leases, etc.   During a direct period, it is easier to get decisions from others, and ensure that decisions are soundly made.  So go ahead and sign those documents!
Dec-20:    VENUS ENTERS AQUARIUS: Being friends as well as lovers is important to us at this time.  We also feel more compelled to being free, independent, rebellious and unconventional towards friends in this transit.  Allowing one another freedom to express who they really area, and treating others the way you want to be treated, being generous and understanding are themes now.
Aug-21:    VENUS ENTERS VIRGO: Venus, the planet that rules money and love, enters Virgo, who loves to be productive.  This transite feels like love gets practical and it needs to have a purpose.   Show your love by doing a good deed or being a helping hand.  It’s also a great time to clear out and de-clutter.  Virgo also rules your health and your physical body, so this is a great time to get that health check up you’ve been putting off for so long.
Sep-21:    JUPITER SQUARE NEPTUNE: The square aspect tends to indicate conflict but great promise which is usually frustrated by the more challenging qualities of these 2 planets. Jupiter represents our expansive qualities and our abilities to improve ourselves.  So you may create this amazing goal but in realizing your dream, in realizing your creative potential, you also face challenges.  Concentration is lacking, you become distracted by other things and could find self-discipline difficult. Be persistent in your dreams and don’t withdraw just when the work gets tough!
Nov-22:    SUN ENTERS SAGITTARIUS: The sun transits to one of the friendliest signs.  It’s a great time for warm conversations; humor and expansive thanksgiving and goodwill.  The month when the Sun is in Sag, it’s wise to connect with your inner journey. Are giving yourself permission to be who you truly need to be?
Aug-23:    SUN ENTERS VIRGO:  we move into the practical, sensible, earthy energy of Virgo.   Sure, we’ll all still be feeling the carefree summertime vibes, but the Virgo Sun shows us how to focus more on our work, our health, and how to make ourselves useful to society. Get your work done — perfectly. Then go for a spa, get some fresh air, play some sports and wind down with a glass of wine and your fave Netflix. Virgo is an Earth sign that values sensation and the best experiences in life.
Sep-23:    SUN ENTERS LIBRA: The focus is now on tolerance, harmony and sociability.  Libra is the sign of the practical, calm, peacemaker. So much so that Libra is willing to go to war to keep the peace Decision-making can be more delayed while the Sun is in Libra as Libra weighs both sides of the equation, giving merit to different situations!
Oct-23:    SUN ENTERS SCORPIO: Scorpio is the sign of depth, intimacy, and extremes of feeling. Scorpio is a fixed, water sign – leading to change and metamorphism. Superficiality simply will not do. Scorpio’s energy is provocative, usually in a quiet or guarded way, as well as passionate, strong-willed, and intense.  Scorpio really wants is for all of us to look beyond jealousy, possessiveness and control issues to the root insecurities that cause those feelings.
Nov-25:    VENUS ENTERS CAPRICORN: it’s time to get clear about what we want when it comes to relationships.  How does it look or feel?  What kind of culture do you want in the relationship of how you treat each other? Getting serious about our finances and strengthening our relations with colleagues, and partners will be easier than usual under this influence.
Nov-26:    NEW MOON IN SAGITTARIUS: The New Moon is a time of renewal, a time when we are given a chance to start afresh.  In astronomy, the new moon is the first lunar phase, when we can only see a silhouette of the moon. In order to feel safe you might find that you need to have a goal, mission or philosophy that gives your life meaning.  The New Moon in Sagittarius presents an opportune time to commit to personal goals that increase awareness, make more expansive your hobbies and projects, focus on the big picture and live larger.
Oct-27:    NEW MOON IN SCORPIO:  A time of new beginnings. In astronomy, the new moon is the first lunar phase (can barely be seen).  Aspects of your life that need work come to light and you’re forced to reckon with the changes that must be made.  Taking the time to understand others’ motives can enrich our feelings of intimacy, forgiveness, and sense of meaning.  The New Moon in Scorpio presents an opportune time to commit to personal goals.
Nov-27:    NEPTUNE DIRECT: Neptune is the planet of illusion and confusion.  Neptune is the planet that protects us from reality when it’s too harsh. Neptune gives us faith, spirituality, and dreams. When Neptune goes direct we’ll be able to get back to the rose-colored glasses that we much prefer to live in.
Sep-28:    SATURN OPPOSITION TRUE NODE: You might feel a little bit isolated, detached from life and feel like ignoring social duties at this time.  Maybe you’re feeling a little restricted or cynical right now.  The Moon’s Nodes are related to the subconscious.  The True or North Node represents conscious motivations relevant, characterized by a desire for the unfoldment of appropriate changes in personal psychology.  Saturn is often associated with a father or authority figures and lessons – like the really tough teacher we had in school that made our lives hard but when we look back, we really appreciated that experience and saw what good it did for us.
Sep-28:    NEW MOON IN LIBRA: A time of new beginnings. In astronomy, the new moon is the first lunar phase (can barely be seen).  Aspects of your life that need work come to light and you’re forced to reckon with the changes that must be made.  However, life is not always calm and peaceful with Libra as it attempts to restore stillness in storms.  The new moon in Libra will be somewhat peaceful, with balance and harmony. But the new moon will be aligned with Uranus – which means surprises!  Uranus wants authenticity, truth, and freedom. Uranus will test peace at the price of accepting trust and authenticity.
Aug-29:    MERCURY ENTERS VIRGO:  Mercury is Virgo’s ruling planet, so it’s right at home in this sign now.  When Mercury enters Virgo, communication is smooth.  This helps us think better, and communicate more precisely and accurately.  Mercury is the planet of communication, information, intelligence and timing.  Virgo is organized, idealistic and healing.  This helps us analyze the data we get so we can reject what doesn’t serve us.
